Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Middletown, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
All work shall be completed within 120 days after notice to proceed.A certified check on a solvent bank, drawn and made payable to the Treasurer of the City of Middletown, Ohio, or a bid bond by a surety company licensed to do business in Ohio, in a sum not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, as surety for the execution of the contract shall accompany each proposal. The checks of all bidders will be returned upon execution and securing of the contract. Bidders must comply with the State Prevailing Wage Rates on Public Improvements in Butler County and the City of Middletown, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Auditor of State Division of Industrial Compliance and Labor.The successful bidder will be required to execute the contract and to provide a 100% performance bond within ten (10) days after the award of the contract. In case the bidder neglects to execute the contract, the check accompanying the proposal shall be forfeited to the City of Middletown, not as penalty, but as liquidated damages. THE CITY OF MIDDLETOWN DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE ON THE BASIS OF RACE, COLOR,NATIONAL ORIGIN, SEX, AGE, RELIGION, HANDICAPPED STATUS, GENDER OR SEXUAL ORIENTATION IN EMPLOYMENT OR THE PROVISION OF SERVICES.
