Site work for a water / sewer project in Middletown, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Approximately 4,814 feet of the existing raw water transmission line was installed in 1967 and is 30” steel pipe. There are three smaller diameter ductile iron segments connecting some of the newer production wells. Given the age of pipe, it was identified as a high-risk asset in the City’s Asset Management Plan. The City has not completed any preliminary engineering to define a proposed alignment or the necessary pipe length or diameter. The objective of the project is to determine the most costeffective solution for ensuring reliable operation of the City’s wellfield Communication with the City throughout the project is imperative. A kick-off meeting, progress meetings/calls, and design review meetings with the City are required. Expected deliverables include: •Prepare and maintain the project schedule. •Prepare and maintain a secure project web site accessible to City staff which will include all information, data, etc. related to the project. •One kickoff meeting, meetings at the conclusion of 30%, 60%, 90%, and 100% complete construction plans to be held at the Middletown Water Treatment Plant. Status 2 update meetings to be held via conference call as needed. Consultant responsible for preparing meeting minutes. •Prepare and submit monthly invoices and a summary of work completed and percentage of each task completed.
