Renovation of a municipal facility in San Luis Obispo, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
In general, the project includes replacement of the liner and floating cover for Reservoir #2, a 7.4 million-gallon concrete-lined in-ground reservoir. Project also includes construction of tank mixers and chemical delivery and monitoring systems The lowest bidder will be determined in compliance with Public Contract Code Section 20103.8(c) with the Publicly Disclosed Funding Amount of $2,500,000 using the TOTAL PROJECT BID. The project estimated construction cost is $2,403,000. Contract time is established as 110 working days. Contract will begin as specified in Section 8-1.04B for contract start time requirements. The fixed liquidated damages amount is established at $500 per day for failure to complete the work within the contract time. The City reserves the right to reject any bid based on non-responsiveness if a bidder fails to provide a bid that complies with all bidding instructions Contact the project manager Anthony Ramos at (805) 783-7875 or the Public Works Department at (805) 781-7200 prior to bid opening to verify the number of addenda issued.
