Renovation of a residential development in Coeburn, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Bid Security is required to be submitted with each Bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid. Bid Security may be in the form of a certified check or a bid bond secured by a surety company. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, will be required on this project. The Contractor shall also provide Liability Insurance coverage for the value of this HVAC contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. If a contract is for one hundred twenty thousand dollars ($120,000) or more, or if the total value of all construction, removal, repair, or improvements undertaken by the bidder within any twelvemonth period is seven hundred fifty thousand dollars ($750,000) or more, the bidder is requiredunder Title 54.1, Chapter 11, Code of Virginia (1950) as amended, to show evidence of being licensed as a Class A Contractor. If a contract is seven thousand five hundred dollars ($7,500) or more but less than one hundred twenty 6/12/23, 6:27 PM Public Notice Tennessee | Tennessee Press Association - Springfield, ILthousand dollars ($120,000), the bidder is required to show evidence of being licensed as a Class B Contract.
