The drainage improvements include but are not limited to roadside swales and replacement of existing undersized drainage crossing along Imboden Road including construction of a large box culvert. Work not specifically called for, but necessary to perform the contract work will be considered incidental to the contract whether specifically detailed or not. Each bid response shall be submitted on the prescribed forms supplied in the Project Manual. Each Bid shall be accompanied by an appropriate guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond, payable to the City of Aurora in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. Original bid bond does not have to be mailed; however, each bidder should maintain the original on file should the City request it at a later time The estimated cost for this this project ranges from $3,250,000.00 to $3,650,000.00. The Contract Documents require that all work be completed within one-hundred ten (110) calendar days, plus ten (10) for mobilization (120 calendar days total), after issuance of notice to proceed by the City.
