As of July 17,2023, project was awarded to Chemung Contracting Corp., awarded amount is $595,394.75. Milling: 1.5" Depth: 31,815 Sq. Yds. 1.5" Surface Asphalt Paving: 5,035 Tons of SM-9.5A Lump Sum for New Striping/Pavement Markings Per Existing Markings. 24" Class I or II Thermoplastic Pavement Markings: 1,752 LF 6" Class I or II Thermoplastic Pavement Markings: 880 LF Thermoplastic Bicycle Shared Lane Symbols (with green background): 22 EA Lump Sum for Traffic Controls and Temporary Marking/Signage for Each Road/Street Work will be awarded on or about July 14, 2023. No work will be allowed at times that the asphalt plants are closed or when the minimum temperatures are less than 50 degrees fahrenheit. All work shall be completed before June 30, 2024. Any questions submitted on or before June 21, 2023 at 4:30 p.m. will be answered and uploaded to the Town's website. All bids shall be accompanied by a five percent (5%) bid bond for the total amount of base bid. Performance and payment bonds with a value of 100% of the contract amount will be required of the successful contractor prior to commencing work. The successful bidder shall be prepared to obtain a Town of Warrenton Business License, if found to be necessary. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive all informalities. In the event the Town Manager chooses to reject all bids, the Town will re-advertise or make the purchase on the open market. The Town, through its duly adopted policies, may reject any or all bids.
