Site work for a water / sewer project in Warrenton, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Town of Warrenton is accepting sealed bids from qualified, Class A contractors for the replacement of the waterline running the length of Rappahannock Street. The project, generally, includes the installation of 1,739 linear feet of 8-inch water main along Rapphannock Street from Waterloo Road to Gold Cup Drive. The construction scope of work includes, but is not limited to, installation of erosion control devices, installation of water main, water service reconnection, installation of new fire hydrants, asphalt pavement, and all measures required for the maintenance of traffic during construction. The due date for submitting questions related to this IFB will be July 18, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Any questions submitted on or before July 18, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. will be answered and uploaded to the Town's website All bids shall be accompanied by a five percent (5%) bid bond for the total amount of base bid. Performance and payment bonds with a value of 100% of the contract amount (if the contract amount exceeds $100,000) will be required of the successful contractor prior to commencing work.
