Site work and paving for a road / highway in Garner, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
** As of 08/22/2023, Award the 2023 Annual Resurfacing Project to Daniels Inc. of Garner and authorize the Town Manager to execute a contract with Daniels Inc. of Garner for a cost not to exceed $1,003,417.15. Also authorize 2% construction contingency as noted for a total resurfacing budget of $1,023,485.49. CONTRACT TIME: The Contract time for this project shall be one hundred fifty (150) calendar days from the effective date of the notice-to-proceed LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: Liquidated damages for this project shall be $500 per calendar day. Also refer to SP-13 for liquidated damages related to phasing/time restrictions. SCOPE A. Except as otherwise stipulated in this section, all cast in place concrete shall be in accordance with section 1000 of the NCDOT Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures, latest edition. B. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials required for placement of cast in place concrete.
