Remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
B26 is a two-story building constructed during the post-World War II period and comprised of warehouse, office space, and meeting space areas. The existing HVAC system in the DCSO office (formerly known as "FCCA") is a constant maintenance and humidity issue for NSAP resulting in mold/mildew in the space. The existing HVAC units serving the J6 Assembly room (formerly known as "FISC AREA") is located within in the same room creating noise nuisance when the units are in operation. This project includes the replacement of the HVAC systems serving the first floor DCSO office area and the J6 Assembly room, the existing 175-ton York chiller located adjacent to the DCSO office area, and the existing Baltimore Air Coil Cooling Tower located on the roof of B26. B26 areas outside the DCSO office and J6 Assembly room are not within the scope of this renovation project. The DCSO office area and J6 Assembly Room program floor plans, occupancy, layout, and operation/circulation are existing to remain in their current configuration.
