Renovation of a municipal facility in Palmyra, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of October, 2023, construction is underway and expected to be completed by May, 2024, at the latest, however, an exact timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Qualified bidders are invited to submit bids for Project as described in the Instructions to Bidders. This is a single prime construction project subject to PA prevailing wages. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Bidders shall begin the Work after receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Work shall commence on-site beginning on or about August 4, 2023. Each Bidder shall propose a substantial completion date aligning with their Bid. Liquidated damages are set at a daily rate of $1,000 per day if all work is not completed by Bidders proposed substantial completion date. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Clarification Deadline - 6/30/2023 1:00 PM Project Location: 325 S. Railroad Street, Palmyra, PA 17078. Online Procurement and Contracting Documents: Obtain after 13 June 2023 at 12:00 PM via PennBid. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
