The project scope is for the development of a GIS-based Street Tree Inventory/Assessment in the City of Ellensburg. The inventory/assessment will evaluate approximately 7,000 trees, stumps, and planting sites within the city rights-of-way. Budget permitting the results of the tree inventory/assessment will be summarized in a final report The City of Ellensburg is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to perform the following services: Complete a GIS-based inventory of the street trees in the city right-of-way, provide a condition assessment for each tree using the International Society of Arboriculture's (ISA) rating system, collect the minimum required data attributes, deliver all of the collected data in a ESRI Shapefile and CSV format, and complete a final report that analyzes the results of the inventory/assessment (budget permitting). The tree inventory, condition assessment, and final report must be overseen and verified by an ISA certified arborist. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. The City of Ellensburg reserves the right to reject any or all proposals The Street Tree Inventory Project shall be initiated as soon as possible after contract execution and completed in a timely manner with final deliverables and invoices received no later than March 8, 2024.
