The project is intended to prevent land erosion along Taylor Boulevard and eliminate the potential threat of land slide during rain events, which may result in the closing of one eastbound lane on Taylor Boulevard. The project would stabilize the slope by replacing affected pavement and installing a retaining wall. Currently, the City maintenance staff removes excess spoils as needed behind the retaining wall. This project is included in the City of Pleasant Hill's FY 2024-2027 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of March 25, 2024, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available.
