In 2018, the City of Pleasant Hill hired an outside consultant to perform a building assessment study, to determine and budget needed annual maintenance at our City facilities, including City Hall. The study determined that the City Hall facility, will reach the end of its useful life in 2037, at which time its replacement value will be $25,018,099. It was recommended that Capital Maintenance projects be programed and scheduled to extend the useful life of the building. The existing roof is a 24 gauge Kynar pre-finished standing seam roof, with built-in down spouts and gutters. The roof has begun to leak in several locations. A roof survey was completed and it was determined that the roof has 5-7 years of service left and needs to be replaced. This project is included in the City of Pleasant Hill's FY 2024-2027 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of March 25, 2024, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available.
