The Town of Millbury DPW, in conjunction with Weston & Sampson Engineers will begin the Town's building inspection program on June 26th. The purpose of the program is to prevent rainwater/groundwater from entering the sanitary sewer system. These additional sources of flow result in increased cost of wastewater treatment and increase the risk of sanitary sewer overflow events during heavy rains. See attachments for more information regarding the program and the affected areas. On behalf of the Town of Millbury, Weston & Sampson Engineers will be conducting the inspections from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., between June 26 and August 11, 2023 (weather dependent). The inspections will be conducted in the area that professional engineering services have been investigating by conducting television inspections on the sewer pipes in the project area.
