Site work for a water / sewer project in Millbury, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work includes approx 11,209 lf of cured-in-place pipe; 53 lf of cured-in-place short liner; open cut repairs of 38 lf of sewers; replacement of 3 service wyes; root treatment of 4,116 lf of sewers; cleaning, inspecting, testing, and sealing 8,683 lf of sewers, testing and grouting 16 services, cutting 5 protruding service connections; cementitious lining of 1,365 vf of manholes; root treatment of 17 manholes; installation of 3 cured-in-place lateral liners, and associated appurtenances. The CONTRACTOR hereby agrees to commence work under this contract on or before a date to be fixed in the written Notice to Proceed given by the OWNER to the CONTRACTOR and to fully complete the project within 180 consecutive days of the start date fixed in the Notice to Proceed. The CONTRACTOR further agrees to pay as liquidated damages the sum of $1,200 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter during which the work has not been fully completed, as provided in the Liquidated Damages provisions of Section 00800 SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS.
