Renovation of a municipal facility in Palmer, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
**As of August 7 2023, the project was awarded to Consolidated contracting and engineering, AK for $452,444.00. This project starts today 8/7/2023 and will be completed on 11/30/2024. The Engineer's Estimate is around $250,000 - $500,000 A Pre-bid site visit is schedule for June 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. local time (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED). Interested vendors must contact: Project Manager: John Gard, phone (907) 269-7391 to register for then inspection and submit the "Clearance form" for security sergeant to run a background check to allow access to the facility. A form must be filled out for everyone attending the site visit. Forms must be submitted 72 hours in advance. Clearance form is in this bid packet. Email your forms to john.gard@alaska.gov Vendors are to meet the Project Manager in the Administrative Lobby of the facilities access to a correctional facility and surrounding area must be controlled. Special Needs: If you require special accommodation due to a disability in order to inspect the property, please notify John Gard at 907-269-7391 at least 48 hours in advance of site visit. The Department of Corrections is soliciting bids for sealed bids to replace eight (8) sliding detention doors and four (4) plumbing chase access doors at Mat-Su Pretrial Facility as described within Section
