The scope of work includes the replacement of the food service ventilation hood, integration of new food service equipment, and other work indicated in the Contract Documents As required by State Law (P.A. 232 of 2004), all bids shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between Bronson Community Schools or any employee of the bidder and any member of the school board or the superintendent of the school district. Bids that do not include this sworn and notarized disclosure statement will not be accepted. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a surety bond, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. Performance and Payment bonds will be required. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after submission. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, alternates, or proposals, and to accept those bids, alternates, or proposals that, in his judgement, serve his best interests.
