The project estimated value is approx. 5.5million. A certified check payable to the City of Bronson, Michigan or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and surety company, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The bidder awarded the contract will be required to furnish a separate Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one-hundred twenty-five percent (125%) of the contract price before commencing work. The Performance Bond and Payment Bond shall remain in effect throughout the entire construction period and in addition a Maintenance Bond in an amount of 10% for a period of three years from the date of final completion will be required. Each bidder shall be required to complete all documents listed in the Checklist for Bidders. This project includes State Revolving Loan Fund and is subject to all associated requirements, including payment of prevailing wages, Debarment Certification, and good faith efforts to retain DBE/MBE/WBE Contractors in each trade. Bids received without the necessary accompanying documentation will be returned to the bidder, unopened. The substantial completion date for thsi project shall be November 30th, 2025.
