The City of Bronson is soliciting proposals from qualified, multi-disciplinary professionals in the fields of architecture, civil engineering, or related fields, to provide design and project management services for the renovation and expansion of the former PNC Bank building, located in downtown Bronson, into the new City Hall. The project includes an addition to the building, the construction of two public restrooms, and the renovation of the existing staircase, among other improvements. The building currently houses the Bronson Police Department, which has successfully relocated into one half of the structure. The remaining half of the building is designated for the City Hall and requires renovation and expansion to meet the needs of city staff, residents, and visitors. This project presents a unique opportunity to create a shared civic space that integrates the operational needs of the City Hall while maintaining the functionality of the Police Department. The City aims to transform the building into an efficient, accessible, and welcoming hub for government services while preserving its character and optimizing costs. The above criteria will be used by City staff and the Bronson City Council to evaluate submittals. The City will schedule interviews with the selected firms on Monday, January 13, 2025 through Thursday, January 16, 2025.
