**As of August 21, 2024 this project has not yet been awarded. Project is expected to be awarded probably late September or early October this year. County's Hudeman Slough Boat Launch Facility, at 28020 Skaggs Island Rd, Sonoma, California. The work includes, but is not limited to the demolition and reconstruction of the existing facilities and other improvements including: a boat launching ramp; a boarding dock and gangway; a new low freeboard dock for launching kayaks (Add Alt 2); a repaved and expanded parking lot with thirteen (13) parking spaces for cars with trailers, and six (6) parking spaces for cars without trailers; a new restroom facility (Add Alt 1). Two accessible (ADA) parking spaces (one trailers and one for cars) will be constructed, with an accessible path of travel between the parking spaces and the launching ramp and dock. All written requests for information or clarification of the plans, specifications or related documents must be received by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. The estimated base bid construction cost is between $1,950,000.00 and $2,150,000.00 Substantial Completion shall be within seventy-five days (75) Days from the date when work is to commence as stated in the Notice to Proceed. Final Completion shall be within eighty days (80) Days from the date when work is to commence as stated in the Notice to Proceed. The amount of the security shall be not less than ten percent (10%) of amount of the total Bid Price County specifically reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all Bids, or re-bid, or to waive inconsequential deviations from Bid requirements. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
