Valley Water needs to replace the existing Chemineer 6HTDA-25 rapid mixer (Quantity 2) located at Penitencia Water Treatment Plant. The rapid mixers serve the rapid mix chambers and their motors are housed in an acoustical enclosure. The rapid mixers are intended to mix cationic polymer and sodium hypochlorite with incoming raw water. Rapid Mixer 1 serves rapid mix chamber 1 and will require removal prior to installing the new rapid mixer. Rapid Mixer 2 served rapid mix chamber 2 and has already been removed from the chamber.
