The Port of Seattle (Port) Aviation Environmental (AV/Env) staff require additional support associated with environmental monitoring during construction, hazardous waste management and environmental site management. Generally, the consultant capabilities must include, but are not limited to, scientific, technical, engineering, estimating, regulatory, strategic planning, and coordination of chemical analytical services. Services provided herein will be authorized by AV/Env issuance of scope-specific Service Directives on an on-call basis as the need for services arises. The on-call contract mechanism will enable AV/Env to respond to the needs of Port departments and tenants rapidly, with a full array of environmental service capabilities. Work assigned will be performed within the context of active and complex facility operations at the airport and may include providing environmental field services in aircraft operational areas requiring special access, security clearance, special training, and multi-party coordination. Environmental monitoring during construction projects, hazardous waste characterization and management, environmental site management for contaminated properties, and environmental data management and mapping services. The first contract will be awarded to the highest ranked firm, valued at three million dollars ($3,000,000). The second contract will be awarded to the second ranked firm, valued at three million dollars ($3,000,000). The duration of these Agreements is five (5) years. (this includes the initial period of performance plus the options to extend).
