Traffic Signal and Pedestrian Crossing Maintenance, and the creation of a 10-year Signal Replacement Plan. The work consists of routine maintenance of Traffic Signals and Pedestrian Crossings. Routine maintenance will include but is not limited to: Conflict Monitor Maintenance Controller and Cabinet Maintenance UPS Maintenance Signal Maintenance Inspection of the pole or mast Minor corrective maintenance In ground junction box MTC Clean all video detection equipment Clean solar panels and test batteries All work performed will be supplied in a written report, in electronic format. Replacement recommendations for future work are to be included in the written maintenance report and included as part of the desired 10-year Signal Replacement Plan. Quotations shall include a cost for the completion of all outlined works provided in a lump sum price that is inclusive of all costs in relation to this contracted service. Business days will be understood to mean Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. Requested work is to be completed within 5 business days of notification. If a delay is required due to missing parts, the City is to be notified. All extra work that is approved by the Manager of Roads & Utilities will be at an hourly rate with a quotation supplying hourly costs for any anticipated extra work. Provision of twenty-four hours per day emergency repair service to traffic signal communications systems and related equipment Emergency telephone numbers shall be provided for On-call maintenance electricians to City staff. The City will expect the bidder to be on-site performing work within 4 hours in the event of an emergency.
