The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) herein issues solicitation 15BFA024B00000008 for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project entitled Replace PLC, at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Greenville, located in Greenville, Illinois. The project consists of the following: The contractor shall be responsible to provide all labor and materials for a full replacement of the Programmable Logic Control (PLC) System. Access to the statement of work and drawings attachments will require an active https://sam.gov vendor registration (log in) AND may require a specific role or domain linked to your registration. Interested bidders must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project lies between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 (NOTE: This range is one of 8 available ranges from FAR 36.204 and is not meant to imply that the project has necessarily been estimated/budgeted to the maximum of the selected range. It merely conveys that the estimate/budget lies somewhere within that range.) The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 238210 (Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors) with a corresponding small business size standard of $19 million. The solicitation is unrestricted. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the website at https://sam.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available. In order to provide sufficient response time prior to the bid due date, the Government is establishing the above cut-off date for questions about the solicitation. All bidders shall bid/offer in accordance with the current solicitation to include all amendments (if any) as issued by the Contracting Officer only. The Contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days and complete it within 420 calendar days after receiving. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
