This project generally consists of minor concrete structures, asphalt grinding, hot mix asphalt surfacing and resurfacing, pavement interlayer, hot mix asphalt dikes, utility cover adjustments, class II aggregate base, minor drainage improvements, traffic control, storm water pollution control and related incidental work at Drakes View Drive and various intersections of Drakes View Drive in Inverness. Additive work includes asphalt grinding, hot mix asphalt surfacing and resurfacing, pavement interlayer, class II aggregate base, and reflective pavement markers at the following locations: Upper end of East Robert (Add. Alt. #1), and Lower Dover to Douglas Drive (Add. Alt.#2). Construction will take place in the daytime hours with traffic control. The Engineer's estimate for this project is $977,500, which includes the base bid plus two additive bid alternates. Bids are required for the entire work described herein. The Contractor shall possess a valid Class "A" License at time of bid submittal. A Bid Bond, cash, certified check, or cashier's check, in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount payable to the County of Marin shall accompany the Proposal. These wages are set forth in the General Prevailing Wage Rates for this project, available at the Department of Public Works. There is no pre-bid meeting scheduled for this project.
