Site work for a water / sewer project in San Rafael, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work consists of removing and replacing five plug valves on force mains that have become inoperable on three different sites in the City of San Rafael. On one site belonging to the San Rafael Sanitation District, a new vault will be constructed around the existing force main to house the new valve. On the other two sites, both along Point San Pedro Road, the valves will be replaced by direct bury. This work will be coordinated with the District's operations and with the Central Marin Sanitation Agency's Wastewater Treatment Facility to take advantage of a planned system shutdown. The successful bidder will have 90 Calendar days to substantially complete the project the project From the notice to proceed. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in a bid.
