Site work and paving for a road / highway in San Rafael, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Per the owner, as of March 12, 2025, they are currently working on a planning level engineering feasibility study to evaluate options for the low-lying flood-prone road segment. Owner states that the study is scheduled for completion in June 2025. Owner states that they do not have a schedule for construction. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ............ The COUNTY OF MARIN is requesting qualifications and proposals for an engineering feasibility study, which shall include existing condition studies (i.e., geotechnical investigation, topographic survey, utility map, and hydrology study), and alternative evaluation (i.e., concept designs, fatal flaws analysis, and alternatives evaluation). DPW has estimated $250,000 for this engineering feasibility study. The COUNTY OF MARIN reserves the right to accept or reject any or all SOQs and proposals received as a result of this request, to negotiate with any qualified Consultant, or to modify or cancel in part or in its entirety the RFQ/P if it is in the best interests of the COUNTY OF MARIN to do so. Furthermore, a contract award may not be made based solely on price.
