This bid package includes: Section 1. General Instructions to Bidders Section 2. Specifications Section 3. Non-Collusion Affidavit Section 4. Official Bid Quote and Acknowledgement Section 1. General Instructions to Bidders. The Town of Woodfin, North Carolina (the Owner) requests bids for the construction of a salt storage bin for Public Works. Questions and/or requests for clarification shall be submitted in writing to Adrienne Isenhower by email at aisenhower@woodfin-nc.gov no later than 3:00 p.m. July 6, 2023. All questions requiring additional information will be responded to in an addendum no later than 5:00 p.m. July 11, 2023. All addenda shall become part of the Contract Documents. This is an informal bid. Bids will not be opened publicly and read aloud. Award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of 30 days. All bidders must meet the licensing requirements under Chapter 87 of the N.C. General Statutes. Small Business Entities, Women Owned Businesses and Minority Owned Businesses are encourage to submit bids. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and defects, as it may deem to be in its best interest.
