Demolition, site work and addition to a hospitality development in Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the addition of a hospitality development; for the demolition of a hospitality development; and for site work for a hospitality development.
A slum and blight project to clean-up the rubble and debris remains of the Former Johnsonburg Hotel Bid security must accompany bid and shall be made payable to the Elk County Board of Commissioners in an amount of 10% of the bid price and in the form of a certified bank check or a bid bond issued by an acceptable surety and executed by the bidder. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds, each in an amount of 100% of the contract price. The Elk County Commissioners and Borough of Johnsonburg reserve the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities. Bids may be held by the Elk County Commissioners for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract. This project is financed (in part) by a grant from the federal U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development, under the administration of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Community & Economic Development (DCED).
