Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of March 5, 2024, the project has been awarded and construction is expected to commence mid to late Summer, 2024. The approximate quantities of major items of work are as follows: 2,420 Ft Shared-Use Path Grading 3,200 Syd Aggregate Base, MDOT 21AA Modified 300 Tons HMA 13A 285 Tons HMA 36A 2,950 Sft 6-inch Reinforced Concrete Sidewalk 2,150 Sft Modular Block Retaining Wall 275 Ft Chain Link Fence Curbs, Ramps, Hydrant Relocation, Removals, Restoration, and all appurtenant work. Only Bidders who have been prequalified by Grand Rapids Charter Township within the required days in advance of the bid opening in accordance with the Information for Bidders section will have their bids opened and read. A Proposal Guarantee payable to Grand Rapids Charter Township, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, must accompany the Proposal in accordance with the Information for Bidders. The right is reserved by Grand Rapids Charter Township to accept any Proposal, reject any or all Proposals, and to waive informalities in bidding when it is deemed to be in the interest of Grand Rapids Charter Township.
