The Kent County Department of Public Works (DPW) Administration Building is a 6,318 square feet facility and the Recycling Facility is a 6,000 square feet facility. The buildings will be available for cleaning from 4:30pm to 8:30pm. Inquiries Deadline Date & Time (local) 7/14/2023, 2 PM This contract begins on September 1, 2023 following successful completion of security background check. The County reserves the right to renew the contract for two (2) optional one (1) year terms at the prices contained herein and upon mutual agreement of both parties and approval of the Purchasing Manager. Kent County will evaluate, award and contract for the goods and services in this solicitation in an efficient and timely manner. The solicitation will be awarded to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming with all the material terms and conditions of the solicitation, is the lowest price. In no event will notification of award be more than thirty (30) days from the date of vendor submission. WORK EXCLUDED Respondent will not be responsible for 1st floor hallway, 2nd floor private office, 2nd floor kitchenette at the Recycling Facility; loading/unloading dishwasher, recycle bins, and breaking down/disposing of cardboard boxes at both Administration Building and Recycling Facility.
