The work to be done consists generally of the supplying of all supervision, materials, labor, tools, equipment and transportation necessary to trim or remove trees, brush and perform other utility forestry services. These specifications require the furnishing of all materials, labor, supplies, tools, equipment and transportation necessary to trim or remove trees, brush, and perform other utility forestry service including right of way clearing, and at such time and place as may be designated by authorized representative of The City The City and selected Contractor will develop the work schedule after award of contract. The contractor will submit hourly rates for three (3) months and the remaining nine (9) months will be at the City's request. The City will give two (2) weeks' notice on work requested past the initial three (3) months. Each request will be for a minimum of one (1) week of work. The three (3) month period will be between March and September. The contractor will state in their proposal which three months they will perform the work The City utilized street right-of-way and easements, as such contractors must have the skills and equipment required to perform vegetative management services for each application. The work desired will be performed on an hourly unit pricing for all labor and equipment. Only bids submitted by prequalified contractors will be considered by the owner in the bid evaluation process. All decisions as to the qualifications of the bidder will be made solely by the owner and will be final. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities therein. There will be no Pre-Bid Meeting Proposals will be presented to the City Council for consideration at a meeting to be held on July 11, 2023. The City seeks to establish a contract for scheduled work during the Fiscal Year 2023 (October 1, 2023 through Sept. 30, 2024) with a budget of $90,000 The City of Liberty, Texas reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any or all formalities in this process.
