Smoky Lake Provincial Building - Boiler Replacement and BMCS Upgrade Smoky Lake Greenhouse No. 21 Alberta Tree Improvement And Seed Centre Boiler Replacement. Work of this Contract comprises the following for the Smoky Lake Provincial Building: Decommission and disconnect hot water heating boiler expansion tanks, natural gas supply piping, boiler venting, hot water supply/return piping fittings and components. Demolish all hot water heating pumps and control valves. Cut off and demolish all hot water heating pipes within mechanical room for connection to new system. Disconnect power supply and controls to heating system pumps, boiler and control components as required for decommissioning and new equipment installation. Supply and install three (3) hot water boilers, including reconnection to existing venting and natural gas supply. Supply and install all new supply/return piping to existing pipes within mechanical room, including installation of insulation as required. Supply and install new expansion tank, micron filter housing, chemical pot feeder and domestic water make up. Supply and install new power connection to new boilers, pumps, and controls; provide relocation of electrical components where required. Replace all existing pneumatic HVAC control devices with digital devices, to be connected to existing BMS system. Devices include thermostats, radiator control valves, VAV damper controls, and air handling unit damper controls. Supply and install new conduit, wire and control devices for existing BMCS system. Installation and testing to be completed by contractor and control subcontractors under cash allowance as per drawings and specifications, programming of BMCS by subcontractor. Work of this Contract comprises the following for the Alberta Tree Improvement and Seed Center (ATISC) Greenhouse No. 21: Decommission and disconnect hot water heating boiler expansion tanks, natural gas supply piping, boiler venting, hot water supply/return piping fittings and components. Demolish all hot water heating pumps and control valves. Cap off and demolish all hot water heating pipes within mechanical room. Disconnect power supply and controls to heating system pumps, boiler and control components as required for decommissioning. Supply and install twenty six (26) forced air unit heaters in greenhouse area, including all natural gas piping and electrical power and controls cable and conduit.
