The District is seeking a qualified Vendor to provide HVAC Air Filters on an as needed/as required basis at various locations throughout the District. The District will upgrade via this request for bid to a MERV 8 filter or equal. We are looking for a filter that offers low initial resistance, slow static pressure rise, and high average dust spot efficiency, manufactured from 100% synthetic material so as not to hold moisture. The filter shall not support microbial growth. Based on American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) tests (52.1) we are looking for initial dust spot efficiencies in the range of 35% with an average efficiency of 50% with removal of 75% of 3 to 10 micron particles. The awarded contract will be for fiscal year 2023-2024 beginning July 1, 2023 and ending June 30, 2024 with the option to renew for up to four (4) additional one (1) year fiscal year periods. Each Bid must be submitted using this document and certification by an appropriate official of the Offeror's firm must be complete and fully executed when submitted. If the Bid is not properly signed, it will be considered non- responsive. Amphitheater Public Schools reserves the right to cancel the solicitation or increase, decrease or eliminate any item of this solicitation prior to the award or the issuing of a purchase order to the Vendor. The District also reserves the right to reject any, any part of, or all bids for any reason whatsoever, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bids. Evaluation of bids will be determined by price comparison of bids received by appropriate officials of Amphitheater Public Schools in accordance with the laws, codes, and policies that govern Public School Procurement in Arizona.
