Aggregate Materials The City of Columbia is soliciting competitive bids to establish a contract for the supply of aggregate materials. It is the intent to establish primary source of aggregate supply for the various City departments. Delivery of the materials is not included in this contract, as the City will arrange for the pick-up of the aggregate material. The quarry shall be located within 20 miles of Public Works located at 2910 Colonial Drive, Columbia, SC 29201. The City reserves the right to choose a quarry that is deemed to be in the best interest of the City based on the location of the work site. The estimated quantities specified in the bid are subject to change, and the City may purchase more or less than the estimated amount depending on the actual requirements that arise throughout the contract period. The Vendor is to provide prices for the aggregate material based on tonnage. The City will make payments based on the fixed unit bid prices only for the quantities ordered, picked up, and accepted by the City. In the event that the Vendor is unable to meet the requirements, the City reserves the right make purchases from another source. Question Deadline 07/05/2023 at 2:00 PM ET
