The Town of Colchester is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to perform electrical service upgrades on the Town's historic town green, located at the intersections of Route 85, Route 16 and Hayward Avenue. Interested bidders shall visit the site to familiarize themselves with the electrical services existing condition and the project's scope of work prior to submitting a bid. Sealed proposals shall be labeled "Colchester Town Green - Electrical Service Upgrades" and addressed to the attention of; Andreas Bisbikos First Selectman. Questions shall be submitted in writing to Planning Director Demian Sorrentino by the close of business on Friday, July 7, 2023. The electrical service upgrades shall generally include the following scope of work: 1. Replace the existing wooden electrical service cabinet with a new code compliant and weather rated pad mounted enclosure, which will be integrated into the existing gazebo's landscape plantings/retaining wall. 2. Replace existing electrical service panels and circuits with code compliant hardware. 3. Relocate the existing electric meter to the new enclosure. 4. Remove the existing utility pole and 'cobra' style light fixture
