Renovation of a library in Waterford, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The Town of Waterford is seeking bids for HVAC upgrades at the Waterford Public Library. The project involves replacements to the existing HVAC system at the Public Library, 49 Rope Ferry Road including but not limited to the removal and installation of new equipment, BMS and associated work. The project is being paid for in part by State funds provided by the Connecticut State Library in the amount of $250,000. Question Submission Deadline:January 30, 2025, 3:00pm Question Response Deadline:January 31, 2025, 3:00pm The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to award each contract to the bidder who is most responsive to the interests of the Town. f the total amount of the bid submitted exceeds $50,000, or if the bid contains any add alternates and the combination of the base bid plus all add alternates exceeds $50,000, then the bid must be accompanied by a CERTIFIED CHECK or a BID BOND, signed by a responsible Surety, in the amount of 10% of the total amount of the tendered bid and made payable to the order of the Town of Waterford. All bid checks or bonds, except those of the lower three (3) bidders will be returned within ten (10) days of the opening of bids.
