The City intends to retain a qualified Contractor to provide design services to complete site analysis, public consultation, conceptual design and full engineered design of a Skate Park and Pump Track. Further, once design is completed and approved by the City, the Contractor shall undertake all steps required for successful construction of the Project. The Project requires that the Contractor work with the local skate/bike park users, members of the community, City representatives, the Recreation and Parks Board and skate park experts to design the facility according to the users' needs and desires. Further, the Contractor should ensure that the completed facility is suitable for a wide range of age groups and skill levels within the design. The City intends to select from submitted proposals to the RFP a Contractor responsible for all stages of the project.
