1321064 SCOPE OF WORK The completed work will provide Owner with the installation of eighty (80) owner-furnished electrodialysis reversal (EDR) membrane stacks within existing EDR process trains and ancillary equipment and includes reconnection of associated process piping and electrical wiring; adjustment and repainting of existing process train support structures; and cleaning of concrete floors. Provide labor, superintendence, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, incidentals, and other ancillary items necessary, as identified in these contract documents, in order to complete the replacement of the electrodialysis reversal membrane (EDR) system equipment and all necessary appurtenances as outlined in the plans, details, specifications, and the contract documents. If said work is not Substantially Complete within 120 calendar days as stated in the Notice to Proceed, the Contractor shall be liable and hereby agrees to pay to the Owner as liquidated damages, and not as a penalty, the amount of five hundred dollars ($500.00) per calendar day for each and every part of a day thereafter that said work is not Substantially Complete. If said work is not fully completed within 30 calendar days after the date of Final Completion as stated in the Notice to Proceed, the Contractor shall be liable and hereby agrees to pay to the Owner as liquidated damages, and not as a penalty, the amount of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) per calendar day for each and every part of a day thereafter that said work remains incomplete.
