Renovation of an educational facility in London, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The scope of work for this project includes the following: - Removal of stairwell from the east side of the school and replacement with a larger addition which includes on grade entrance, LULA lift, universal washrooms on each floor and a new stairwell. - New accessible washroom at the gymnasium - New stair glides to two internal stairwells - New tactile warning indicators and painted nosings throughout - New windows and exterior doors throughout - Hardware upgrades to internal cross corridors doors - Expanded parking lots and sidewalks in front of the school and on the east side - New electrical service, water service and hydrant - New ramp and stair from kindergarten wing to the playground - New flooring in various areas - New roof hatches in gym and kindergarten wing Bid values are undisclosed Ready-For-Takeover is required as follows: Phase 1: Addition (including site service upgrades), Interior Renovations - March 22, 2024, Phase 2: Parking Lots and new Ramp - August 23, 2024, and is required to be completed in accordance with the Contract Documents. Mechanical, Electrical, Asbestos, Roofing, Paving, Window & Door Subcontractors are prequalified as well.
