Sealed bids to furnish Residential Municipal Solid Waste Collection, Disposal, and Recycling Services from January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2026 (or December 31, 2028, if five (5) year option selected by the Township) Each bid must be accompanied by either a cashiers check or bid bond, payable to the Township, in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the highest sum of the Total Prices bid amount set forth in the bid for 2024-2026 inclusive (or 2024-2028 inclusive if a Bidder submits a bid for the five (5) year optional term), as more fully set forth in the Instructions to Bidders and on the Price Sheet. The successful Contractor shall comply with the requirements of the Non-Discrimination Clause of the Contract. The Board of Commissioners of South Whitehall Township reserves the right to waive any irregularities in any bid, and to reject any and all bids and to accept the bid which is in the best interest of South Whitehall Township, as more fully set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. Following the opening of the bids, no bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days.
