1.1 The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision and testing to complete the project as described in these specifications and as shown on the drawings. Work includes but is not limited to the removal and replacement of concrete piers supporting an aerial sewer crossing including streambank improvements with rip-rap armored embankment, seeding and mulching, and miscellaneous site work as shown on the plans. All work indicated on the drawings and specifications is to be performed unless deleted by Owners change order. 1.2 Location: The project site is located as shown on the drawings. 1.3 Access: Access by the Contractor and/or his employees to the site and other areas of construction is available via public roads, streets, and easements. 1.4 Safety: Precautions shall be exercised at all times by the Contractor for the protection of persons, employees, and property. The safety provisions of applicable laws and local building and construction codes (OSHA and manufacturers safety requirements) shall be observed.
