Upgrade the existing Allen Bradley control system, which is no longer supported by Rockwell Automation, to a modern version. This upgrade will replace the PLCs and controllers, as well as update the panic alarm system for the freezer rooms. The new system is expected to improve the performance and adaptability of the refrigeration control system, while also reducing the energy consumption of the building. The project will enable technicians to more effectively monitor, troubleshoot and maintain the equipment. The existing Simplex panic alarm is to be replaced and all freezer rooms are to be connected to a new alarm system that will alarm at the commissionaire desk and provide feedback as to which room number is in alarm. TIMELINE: RFP was for 3rd party commissioning services. RFP has closed.
