Reference Number 0000324188 The estimated cost for this project ranges from $350,000.00 to $400,000.00 Bidders may make written inquiries concerning this ITB to obtain clarification of requirements. Written inquiries shall be emailed to: Kristin Chewiwi, Procurement Supervisor, at kchewiwi@auroragov.org AND Vincent Cox, Project Manager, at vcox@auroragov.org. It is preferred that all inquiries be sent with the subject title: Aurora Detention Center Elevator Modernization (5896A). The Aurora Detention Center Elevator Modernization project will consist of furnish all engineering, fabrication, materials, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, testing, inspections, and "Building Interface" work to modernize two (2) hydraulic elevators, #3 Inmate (North) Elevator and #4 Service (South) Elevator located in the City of Aurora Detention Center. In addition, Contractor shall perform full coverage preventive maintenance service commencing upon Notice to Proceed and continuing through the warranty/guarantee period. Work not specifically called for, but necessary to perform the contract work will be considered incidental to the contract whether specifically detailed or not. Original bid bond does not have to be mailed; however, each bidder shall maintain the original on file should the City require it at a later time.
