Hangar floor work involves demolishing the existing asphalt and concrete aircraft parking pads, excavating approximately 9-inhces of existing hangar floor soil and aggregate, and placing 4- inches of concrete pavement on 5-inches of aggregate as more specifically detailed in the construction plans and specifications. Interior partition wall work involves installing interior timber sill plates with sill insulation fastened to the concrete hangar floor with anchor bolts and hex bolt connectors; framing with timber sidewall girts and columns, and 10-feet high corrugated galvanized steel or aluminum sheet panel screwed into the sidewall girts as more specifically detailed in the construction plans and specifications. Hangar aircraft stall door work involves the installation of commercially available, rollingsliding door systems, either a two-panel unidirectional sliding door system (with a man-way door for the two end stalls) or a three-panel bidirectional sliding door system (without a man-way door for the eight interior stalls) as more specifically detailed in the construction plans and specifications.
