Statements of Qualification and Experience (Statements) will be received by the Salt Lake City Department of Airports (SLCDA) for a pool of firms (Respondents) to provide on-call general contractor services at the Salt Lake City International Airport, the South Valley Regional Airport, and the Tooele Valley Airport (Airports). City intends to enter into an agreement with the selected Respondents commencing approximately August 1, 2023, and continuing for a period of three (3) years. TERM OF CONTRACT. The total amount of the bid on which bid security is to be based shall be the sum of all items of the bid constituting the maximum amount of the possible award to the bidder. The bid security amount must equal at least five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid. The bid security may be in the form of a bid bond or cashier's check. PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS: Performance and payment bonds are required. If a pre-bid conference is held, the Notice to Bidders will state the time, place, and nature of the conference, and whether attendance is mandatory in order to submit a bid. Representatives of the Owner will be present to discuss the Project. The Owner shall not be bound by any statements, representations, conclusions, or assumptions made by any party, whether oral or written, except for written statements that are issued in an Addendum by the Owner to all prospective bidders. The goals and timetables for minority and female participation, expressed in percentage terms for the Contractor's aggregate workforce in each trade on all construction work in the covered area, are as follows: Goals for Minority Participation in Each Trade 6.0% Goals for Female Participation in Each Trade 6.9% The City reserves the right to reject any and all statements or to accept any statement that is deemed to be more advantageous to the public and Salt Lake City Corporation.
