Demolition and site work for an educational facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

The Salt Lake District School District (SLCSD) is soliciting bids from qualified vendors to demolish Rosslyn Heights Elementary. The school is located at 2291 S 2000 E Salt Lake City, Utah. The project involves building and structure demolition including concrete tunnels and footings. Site demolition to include interior fences, soccer goals, masonry walls, asphalt and concrete paving, removal of trees (including stumps), clearing of plant life, root systems and shrubs, installation of temporary caps on main sewer and water lines, and the removal of underground storm drain, sumps (5), boxes and piping. Q & A deadline: Jul 13, 2023 12:00:00 PM EDT Vendors must submit a copy of their contractor license, minimum of an S310 license. Vendor shall have and maintain all other professional licenses required by the State of Utah. Please submit a copy of the current contractor license. This site has most recently been used as a charter school for the Salt Lake School of Performing Arts (SLSPA). SLSPA has moved out of the building and the Board of Education has chosen to demolish the building. Vendor shall submit a bid bond from a bonding company listed on the current Approved Surety List published by the U.S. Treasury Department. The amount of the bond shall be 5% of the vendor's bid price. Note that a performance and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the bid price will be required by the successful vendor prior to starting the work.
