Site work for a civil project in Torch Lake, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The construction activities will include, but are not limited to, installation of proper SESC measures required by the State and Local Agencies. Dredging of the stream bed prior to the installation of a 64-foot, 60-inch culvert. Following installation of the new culvert the washed-out area will need to be backfilled, with the appropriate fill material (followed by dredged/excavated material), to bring the area back up to the grade of the existing road. Once the area has been backfilled to the grade of the existing road, a 6-inch aggregate surface (such as 23AA) will be installed. To complete the proposed culvert and roadway reconstruction, riprap and 6-inch loam soil and vegetative cover (turf) will be installed on both sides of the roadway. If a vegetative cover does not establish, the contractor will be required to reseed during the spring. Question Deadline 08/04/2023 at 10:00 AM ET
