Allow Electronic Quote: Yes Informal Bid Flag: No Blanket/Contract Begin Date: 06/27/2023 Blanket/Contract End Date: 07/24/2023 The Work includes the emergency repair of existing water, and sewer mains on an on-call basis. The Bid items shown on the Bid are for typical projects anticipated during the term of the contract. Typical Work includes: Emergency repairs of water and sewer main breaks. Emergency repairs regarding the Long Beach Groundwater Treatment Plant,sewer lift stations, and any other LBUD facilities Traffic control. Video inspection, cleaning, and rehabilitating of sewers using cured-in-place pipe. Repaving and slurry sealing street trench sections after main construction. Draining existing mains and groundwater dewatering. Term of the on-call contract shall be for two years. The contract is subject to extension for separate, consecutive periods of one year each at the option of the Owner. The Bidder shall guarantee the Total Bid Price for a period of 120 calendar days after the date of Bid opening. Bidders must scan and upload with their bid documents a certified check or bank draft payable to the Long Beach Utilities Department, drawn on a solvent bank in the United States of America, or a satisfactory bond in an amount not less than 10 percent of the Bid.
