Site work, paving and renovation of a sidewalk / parking lot in Beaufort, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a sidewalk / parking lot; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This Project provides a new forty-five (45) space parking lot on the Beaufort County Government Center Campus between the new Arthur Horne Office Building and the existing Law Enforcement Center. The Project will provide parking for County Employees and visitors. Additionally, the Project provides a new masonry screen wall around an existing generator and a future dumpster. The Project is limited to construction of a new parking lot and a screen wall around an existing generator Work includes, grading, asphalt and pervious paving, concrete sidewalks, curb and gutter, concrete footings and a masonry screen wall. Beaufort County reserves the right to hold a second mandatory pre-bid meeting. Beaufort County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities or technicalities, as it may deem to be in its best interest. A Bid Bond, certified check or cashiers check, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Total Bid, is required. Performance, and Payment & Material bonds are required for this project. Liquidated Damages will be included in the construction contract at a rate of five hundred dollars and zero cents ($500.00) per day for each day past the date of substantial completion.
